Cancellation Policy

Booking, Deposit, Cancellation, and Health & Safety Policy At Sgt. Dogdog, we are committed to a safe, professional, and positive grooming experience. By booking, you agree to the following terms. Health and Safety Owner Consent: I confirm I am the pet’s owner or legal guardian and give consent for grooming services to be performed at Sgt. Dogdog. Health: My pet is healthy and fit for grooming. If there are any health conditions, I have informed Sgt. Dogdog in advance. Matted Hair: I understand that if my pet has matted hair, the groomer may need to remove it, which may alter the pet’s appearance. Aggression: If my pet shows aggressive behavior towards the groomer or other pets, I agree to the use of a muzzle or other safety aids at the groomer’s discretion. If grooming cannot continue due to aggression, I accept to pay a minimum charge for the time spent. Emergency Treatment: If my pet’s health causes concern during the session and I cannot be reached, I authorise Sgt. Dogdog to seek veterinary care, and I agree to pay any associated expenses. Booking and Deposit A £25 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your appointment. This deposit can be paid via cash, card, or bank transfer, and is deducted from the total cost of your grooming service. Bookings will not be confirmed without the deposit. Cancellation and Refunds • 48+ hours’ notice: Full refund of the deposit. • Less than 24 hours’ notice: No refund of the deposit. • No-Show: If you fail to show up for your appointment without notice, your deposit will be forfeited. Rescheduling You may reschedule your appointment if 24 hours’ notice is given. If less than 24 hours’ notice is provided, the deposit may be forfeited. Rescheduled appointments must be made within 30 days. Late Arrivals If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, your grooming session may be shortened or rescheduled, and you may lose your deposit. Payment The remaining balance is due upon completion of the grooming session. We accept payment by cash, card, or bank transfer. Accuracy of Information I confirm that all details provided are accurate to the best of my knowledge. I agree to update any information when necessary, including medical conditions, contact details, or grooming preferences. Thank you for choosing Sgt. Dogdog.
